New branch marks latest milestone in regional expansion

Release date, Dubai, UAE: Dubai-headquartered learning solutions consultancy, HNI, has announced the latest milestone in its regional expansion, with the launch of a new office in Doha, Qater. The inauguration of the company’s most recent MENA base consolidates existing capacity building projects ongoing in the Gulf state and provides the platform for growth in niche areas of technology-enabled training delivery.

HNI has been conducting learning development programs in Qatar since the company’s inception in 2010.

Starting out with customised, in-house courses focussing on leadership skills, HNI went on to launch its public training programs in Doha last year, prompting the rapid growth that has led to the establishment of the new in-country office. The firm’s client portfolio includes some of Qatar’s leading entities, including Qatar Foundation, Qatargas, Oredoo (Qtel), Georgetown University, Msheireb Properties, Qatar Development Bank, Qatar Museums Authority, and Qatari Diar.

The launch of HNI’s Doha branch is the second milestone in the company’s regional expansion in 2022. Earlier this year, HNI established an office in KSA, to serve its growing market in the Kingdom. Speaking about the recent expansion, HNI Founder and CEO, Hanan Nagi, said, “We have witnessed a growing demand throughout the GCC for learning solutions based on world-class standards, reflecting the region’s ambitions to build knowledge economies that compete on the global stage. With our technology-based, blended learning solutions, and HR consultancy support, we are proud to play our part in strengthening the human capital in the region.”

Explaining the firm’s move into Doha, Nagi said, “The Qatar National Vision for 2030 recognises the need for first-rate career development opportunities, to ensure citizens reach their full potential and are prepared to succeed in an ever-changing world. Being on the ground in the country will enable us to respond to those ever-changing needs, to help Qatar realise its vision for a talented labour force that can quickly adopt and exploit advancing technology for progress and prosperity, to achieve the nation’s plans for a diversified and sustainable economic future.”

Initially focussed on leadership and management training, HNI has since diversified its portfolio to provide learning solutions that cater to the needs of clients, with face-to-face, virtual, and blended techniques that harness the latest technological advances. Its programs cut across a range of business disciplines and soft skills, from communication and customer service, to finance, HR, marketing, procurement, and quality management. The company has already trained over 30,000 professionals across a wide variety of business sectors, as well as government, and semi-government organisations.

Delivering courses in both English and Arabic, HNI’s learning development model involves a training needs analysis that provides bespoke solutions based on an organisation’s strategy, with the goal that all learning is transferred into the workplace. With a dedicated team currently developing training content using online simulations, video animation, and digital gamification, the expansion to Doha will introduce HNI’s pioneering, next generation learning methods into another territory.
